This Summit is built for IT leaders, business decision-makers, Microsoft partners, vendors, and rising early-career talent. That includes CIOs, heads of IT, IT managers, architects, cloud engineers, security leaders, founders, operations leaders, and practitioners who want practical Microsoft 365 and AI insights with strong community connections.

You can expect a premium summit experience with expert-led sessions, panel discussions, expanded content tracks, and real-world case studies focused on Microsoft 365, Copilot, and workplace innovation. Beyond the conference day, Summit week also includes high-value networking moments such as a VIP dinner and an executive breakfast.

The Vancouver Microsoft 365 Summit is a community-driven initiative. While we currently are yet to be registered as a non-profit organization, this event is not run with the intent of generating a profit. The modest registration fee simply helps cover the costs of hosting the Summit, including attendee giveaways, catering, audio/visual setup, and printed materials. All funds are directly invested back into the event to elevate the attendee experience, ensuring that the Summit delivers a professional, well-organized, and highly engaging environment. Any surplus will be reinvested into sustaining and growing Microsoft communities like Van365View—a long-standing, community-led Microsoft user group in Vancouver—and to cover the costs of future Summits.

No. No. The Summit is organized entirely by volunteers who contribute their time, expertise, and skills to make this event possible. From building the website and designing the branding, to coordinating logistics and creating event materials, the team does this work without pay. The registration fee does not cover any operational overhead; instead, it goes directly towards the tangible costs of running the event, such as printing (e.g. signage, name badges), catering and refreshments for attendees. and giveaways and swag for participants. The registration fee is used only to offset the actual expenses of running the event and allows us to deliver a professional, high-quality experience for everyone who attends.

In addition to covering attendee-focused costs such as giveaways, swag, catering, and event materials, we’ve found through experience that free events often result in high no-show rates and can attract audiences that are not well aligned with the event’s purpose. This reduces the quality of the experience for those who do attend. By introducing a modest registration fee, we ensure that seats are reserved by participants who are genuinely committed, which allows us to plan catering, room sizes, and resources more accurately. We anticipate a smoother, more valuable experience for every attendee.

We want the Summit to be accessible. If the registration fee is a barrier, please contact the organizers directly at impact@vancouver365summit.com. A limited number of subsidized or sponsored tickets may be available to ensure community members who are eager to learn can still attend.

Your registration includes full access to all sessions, panels, and networking opportunities throughout the day. It also covers refreshments, lunch, and event materials to enhance your learning experience.

Yes! Our hope is to make this an annual, flagship Microsoft event for the Vancouver community. By supporting this year’s Summit through your attendance, you’re helping us ensure that future gatherings are possible while simultaneously broadening the Microsoft 365 community in Vancouver for years to come.
